Watts was completely responsible for preparing the final plans, specifications and estimate for this two-span bridge with an overall length of 174 feet. The bridge carries two lanes of traffic over a four-lane divided highway. The bridge’s features include: pile foundations; a cast-in-place pier with veneered stone masonry pilasters and arches; cast-in-place abutments with veneered stone masonry pilasters and u-walls; seismic analysis using single-mode spectral method; and steel-plate girders with haunched sections.
